SPARC has added a new section to its website dedicated to promoting the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympics Games.
Titled “Eyes on Beijing”, It contains a range of informative articles and interactive information on New Zealand’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Eyes on Beijing aims to educate and inspire all New Zealanders on what it takes to make it to the Games – the world’s highest sporting stage. It supports and links to the New Zealand Olympic Committee and Paralympics New Zealand websites.
A key feature of the new site is a downloadable Olympic Tracker. The Tracker allows you to closely follow your favourite Olympic and Paralympic sports during the Games from your computer desktop. It counts downs to your selected events and displays the official NZ Olympic Team results as the medals are won (and who won them).
