Push Play

Overview

Push Play is a nationwide SPARC campaign to get more New Zealanders more active, more often.

Initially to raise New Zealander’s awareness of the benefits of physical activity and the need to do at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity on most days of the week. Since 2005 the campaign has been a call to action for more New Zealanders to get more active more often.

This year’s campaign ‘Feel Greatness’ is all about making time, setting goals and getting that feeling of greatness out of sport and physical recreation that an elite athlete gets when they win a medal. It can be as simple as completing that first run without stopping or cycling to the top of that hill without having to get off and push.

‘Feel Greatness aims to inspire people to fit sport and physical recreation into their day, by showing them how. It’s a campaign about real people making it work and reaping the rewards. See how others have managed it and decide what will work for you. You too can ‘Feel Greatness’ if you Push Play.
