The first year was all about provision, credibility and visibility. The focus has now shifted: “Now it is more about facilitation and helping people to stage their own events – we don’t want to be out there putting the cones out,” says Andrea.
“We will still assist with things like promotion and risk management but we want to point people in the right direction rather than doing it all,” she says.
As organisations identify their own opportunities and help themselves, more time will be available to Activation staff to progress ideas that have not yet been developed.
