GRx research

Research shows that a Green Prescription (GRx) is an inexpensive way of increasing activity for sedentary people.

The research also indicates that a GRx can have a significant economic impact, by reducing cardiovascular (and other) morbidity and mortality.

Research grants

SPARC (Sport & Recreation New Zealand) offers grants to support research projects in the sport and recreation sector.

The grants provide funding for research projects that will expand the knowledge and evidence base of the sector.

The grants also support the development of dedicated sport and recreation researchers.
